What issues did you have before introducing the laser machine?
Asuka Kobo is a woodworking factory that manufactures wooden toys and miscellaneous goods.
We offer a customization service that allows customers to engrave names and logos on products, using a laser engraving machine for the engraving and branding process.
Originally, we were using a laser engraving machine from another manufacturer, but when it broke down, we decided to take this opportunity to look for a faster and higher-performance laser machine.
One major drawback of our previous laser engraver was the high repair costs. The maintenance service was kind and professional, but since the technicians had to travel a long distance, we had to bear additional expenses for transportation and technical fees.

Why introduce the GCC LaserPro laser machine?
We introduced the GCC LaserPro Spirit LS laser engraving machine as a replacement.
The Spirit LS was the perfect fit for us, offering the right size and ease of use for our products. Another key factor in our decision was the reliable maintenance and support systemprovided by COMNET.
Right after installation, we encountered an issue due to an operational mistake on our part. However, we were able to share our screen via remote support, and they guided us through the solution. Additionally, a technician from a nearby office quickly came to provide on-site maintenance.
The high repair costs, which had been a major concern, are now reduced since remote support eliminates the need for travel expenses. This not only lowers costs but also gives us greater peace of mind.

What results follow laser machine installation?
Since we upgraded to Spirit LS, a more productive laser engraving machine, processing time has been significantly reduced. This allows us to allocate more time to other tasks such as design and product planning.
Another great feature is the ability to adjust laser power and speed settings based on different colors when creating engraving data in Illustrator. Our previous laser machine only allowed a single power setting per engraving session, which meant that if we needed different settings, we had to process the material separately each time.
Now, by assigning different power settings to different colors in Illustrator, we can perform multiple engraving processes in a single run. This has greatly improved our workflow efficiency.
Also, a small but incredibly useful feature is the "beep" sound that plays when processing is complete. It has been surprisingly helpful and convenient.
Stamp collection book: Although both engraving and cutting are mixed, you can process them all at once by setting it up in Illustrator.
